England would like to continue their sensational run as they take on Sri Lanka in Match 29 of the T20 World Cup 2021. The encounter takes place at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Monday (October 31). Both teams have made contrasting starts to their campaign and it would be interesting to see how the upcoming contest pans out. Having won all their three games so far, the Three Lions are certain to go to the semi-finals.

However, one more win will officially confirm their place in the next stage. On the other hand, Sri Lanka, who cleared the preliminary round, started off the Super 12 stage with a thrilling win against Bangladesh. However, two successive defeats have somewhat dented their campaign and they must put their best foot forward against England.

Given the strength and composition of both teams, England will undoubtedly take the field as favourites. The likes of Jos Buttler, Adil Rashid and Moeen Ali have been in phenomenal form. On the other hand, the Lankan Lions would rely on their youngsters Pathum Nissanka, Charith Asalanka and Wanindu Hasaranga.
