Match 41 of the T20 World Cup 2021 will see Pakistan taking on Scotland at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Sunday (November 7). This would be a sort of a dead rubber as both sides have nothing to lose or gain from the Super 12 anymore. Having won their first four fixtures comprehensively, the Men in Green have sealed a place in the semi-final.

Hence, they would treat this game as a mere practice opportunity. Kyle Coetzer’s Scotland, on the other hand, have endured a hard time in the Super 12, having lost their all four games. While they looked competitive in a couple of matches, the Scottish side evidently lacked the quality to trouble the full-member teams. Hence, this campaign would be a learning curve for Scotland.

Needless to mention, Pakistan will take the field as favourites and it would be interesting to see how they’ll approach the game. As far as Scotland are concerned, they have nothing to lose and should play the game for pride. Notably, the upcoming game could also see many players making and shattering records.

Meanwhile, let’s look at important stats and numbers ahead of the 41st game of the T20 World Cup 2021:
