West Indies is all set to play its next game with Australia in their next game of the T20 World Cup 2021. Though they are out of the race of playoffs, they would step up for the pride of the nation. They lost their last game against Sri Lanka, it remains to be seen if they can turn a corner against Australia in the next game of the T20 WC.

West Indies were deemed as one of favourites to win the tournament being the defending champions and having won the title twice, but nothing stood out for them and they are still struggling to make a mark. West Indies might change their bit of combinations moving up in the game as they have nothing to lose from now.

West Indies Predicted Playing XI against Australia

Openers (Andre Fletcher and Evin Lewis)

Evin Lewis will be opening the order with Andre Fletcher most probably in the next game as Chris Gayle hasn’t been able to click even once. Gayle averaged 7.50 by scoring only 30 runs in T20 WC and it stands to be the lowest average by a specialist West Indies batter.

Middle-Order (Roston Chase, Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard, Shimron Hetmyer)

Chase did well for West Indies in their last-to-last game and it will be expected that he performs well in this game too. Nicholas Pooran and Hetmyer were the star performers in the game against Sri Lanka but failed to gain support from the other end.

Pollard will be seen leading the side in the next game too but a great performance from Pollard has been missing for a long time. However, their last game will be not be affecting any of their results further and Pollard can take some chances now.

All-rounder (Dwayne Bravo, Jason Holder, and Andre Russell)

The all-round department of West Indies looks extremely strong on paper but the strength remained confined to papers only this time. Bravo, Russell didn’t produce even one fiery knock to steal the show but as Russell was great with the ball in the last game, West Indies would hope that he can strike a balance for them in the future too.

Bowlers (Hayden Walsh Jr, Oshane Thomas)

Hayden Walsh would be expected to pair up with Oshane Thomas in place of Ravi Rampaul. West Indies side started their campaign against England where they showed an absolutely below-average batting show and moving up after that, they couldn’t settle down to strike a comeback. Their only victory in the series came against Mahmudullah and his men and that too by three runs.
