SPL 2023 Points Table

After two swashbuckling seasons, Saurashtra Premier League (SPL) is all set to return for its third edition, which is slated to August 23. Notably, just like the previous two editions, the tournament will be played in a round-robin format, with two teams qualifying for the finals after the league stage.

Meanwhile, defending champions Halar Heroes will be taking on Gohilwad Gladiators in the opening match of the competition while the finals are scheduled to be played on August 31. All the matches are scheduled to begin at 7 pm IST and will be played at Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) Stadium in Rajkot.

In the last edition of the competition, Halar Heroes defeated Gohilwad Gladiators by 40 runs to win their maiden title of the tournament. Notably, Chirag Sisodia and Parth Chauhan were sensational with the bat while Navneet Vora and Dharmendra Jadeja picked up three wickets each. The team will be hoping to repeat something similar but one of their consistent performers, Jadeja has switched sides and will be seen leading Kutch Warriors in the coming season.

The tournament will feature a lot of star cricketers, including the likes of veteran stumper-batter Sheldon Jackson, Chetan Sakariya, Prerak Mankad and Chirag Jani.
