It was the maiden season that was organized in Pakistan and it received lots of applauds from the fans and cricketing fraternity. The stadiums were full of spectators cheering for their favourite cricketers on the field. After a total of 30 games, the four teams that managed get their place in the semi-finals were Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans, Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings.

But, just ahead of the PSL semi-finals, the news broke that the officials have postponed those games due to COVID-19 threats. There is no update on when these games will be played but at least they will not be played at the moment looking forward to conditions. This major decision was taken as a precaution for the players that will feature in the crucial games.

In the end, he hilariously questioned fans if Multan Sultans can be nominated as the tournament champions. In fact, the veteran plays for Multan Sultans and his side ended up being the league toppers after amassing 14 points.

Afridi took to his Twitter handle and shared a post that read, “Sad to see the PSL end, but health and safety of all concerned is the key, esp those who are travelling back to their homes.
