KL Rahul has now become an integral part of the Indian team. He was initially considered to be a Test specialist but over the years, he has been a superb player in all formats of the game. As a matter of fact, he established himself as a T20 batsman just after the 2016 T20 WC and has started playing for India in the shortest format of the game since then.

He has never looked back since then as he has transformed himself into a T20 batting giant. He would be playing his maiden T20 WC as one of the best of this format. The numbers speak for itself

The opener has scored 1557 runs in 48 T20Is so far. His batting average and strike rate in this format are 39.92 and 142.19, respectively. This includes two overseas T20I hundreds.
