7. RCB – Kyle Jamieson, Dan Christian, Kane Richardson
Despite Kyle Jamieson turning to be a satisfactory proposition for RCB, his mammoth INR 15 Crore fee would surely indulge the franchise to discard him after the ongoing season. Also, with the likes of ABD and Glenn Maxwell being the two likely retentions, this NZ pacer would only find himself reinstated through a buyback in the next auction.
On the other hand, Dan Christian through his limited opportunities is yet to deliver with his both skills and has been currently paid INR 4.8 Crores for the ongoing season. While his presence was only recruited to fill the voids for the current IPL season, eventually he will face a cease with RCB shortly.
While the RCB team has also shown some prolonged confidence in Kane Richardson’s freakish bowling, the Australian pacer might get discontinued mainly because of the other busy retentions happening in the franchise. At present, Kane Richardson charges INR 4 Crores in the IPL 2021 but his future relationship with the franchise will only get sustained through a buyback in the next auction.
