Upcoming Rajasthan Royals speedster Kuldeep Sen bowled yet another excellent spell against Royal Challengers Bangalore and helped the side to defend a relatively low total. The right-arm quick has caught the eyes of the experts already with his scintillating pace and he came back into the playing XI with a bang picking up a four-wicket haul. Sen finished with 4 for 20 in his 3.3 overs and was the pick of the bowlers for the Royals franchise.

The 25-year-old had already impressed by keeping his nerves in his very first IPL game and bowled a brilliant final over to help his side to victory. The Madhya Pradesh pace sensation will have a big role to play in the upcoming fixtures and he is likely to learn a lot more with a world-class bowling coach Lasith Malinga in the setup for RR and also with Trent Boult in the lineup.

Sen mentioned his side strain which had kept him out of the playing XI for the last two games and reckoned that he noticed the ball stopping a bit which helped him to assess the lengths that he should bowl. He added that the plan was to stick with bowling the tough lengths for the batters as the wicket had already a little bit of assistance.

“After my second game, I missed a couple of games as I suffered a side strain at the nets during practice. Watching Hazlewood and Siraj, I realized that the ball was stopping a bit. So the plan was to bowl hard lengths. The talks were about hitting the right lengths and preventing run-flow since we had seen that in the first innings,” Kuldeep told after the match.

Sen picked up the important wicket of skipper Faf du Plessis who had been finding the gaps until that and came up with the big wicket of Glenn Maxwell on the very next delivery only.
