3. Rahul and Vijeeta Dravid:

Rahul, being the kind of person he is, simple and shy has a completely different story. His life partner was chosen by his family, Vijeeta is the daughter of a very close family friend of Mr. Dravid. The mamma’s boy was wowed by simple and studios Vijeeta. Their families have known each other 35 years and as Vijeeta’s father said: “who wouldn’t want a son-in-law like Rahul”. When the marriage was on cards she started to be audience to his games. The girl, who had no idea about cricket started learning and observing the game to know what her to be husband did “at work”.

They tied the knot on 4^th May 2003. 12 years of a beautiful marriage with two kids one of them aspires to be a cricketer. The two of them has seen through some tough phases, one during Dravid’s retirement. Vijeeta has always respected his love for the game and his schedule and lone times before and after the game. These two are a proof of how an arranged marriage turns into love.
