The 12th match of the Ford Trophy 2019-20 will be played between Auckland and Otago at the Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln.
The match starts at 11:00 AM local time (10:00 PM GMT – Prev Day) (3:30 AM IST).
The Auckland team have been easily the strongest side among the six teams at the moment in the Ford Trophy. The presence of Martin Guptill and Colin Munro at the top has helped the Auckland team to come as close as eight runs to the huge target in the game against Wellington. The Auckland team will now travel to Bert Sutcliffe Oval where they will take on Otago on Wednesday. The Otago team started with a 28-run win on the DLS method in the first match against Northern Districts. However, defeats in the next two matches pushed them down to No.5 in the points table.
Periodic clouds are expected at the Bert Sutcliffe Oval throughout Wednesday.
The Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln might have seen scores of 270 in the previous match but the track was much better than that. The Opening stand of Central Districts lasted 28.5 overs while the Northern Districts did add 90 runs for their first wicket. A much better track could be seen on Wednesday considering the totals recorded on Monday.
