Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) registered a tense victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Saturday. The game went into the Super Over and thanks to Lockie Ferguson’s exceptional bowling, they won their fifth match of the season to strengthen their position in the top four. However, the daughter of KKR’s co-owner and the Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, was stressed after watching yet another close match of her team.

Suhana was only seven years old when the inaugural season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was played back in 2008. She has been attending KKR’s matches to cheer for them with her father since then. The 20-year-old was also seen in the stands during the Eoin Morgan-led team’s one of the earlier matches.

Coming back to her recent reaction over the Knight Riders’ close win in the Super Over, Suhana Khan took to her Instagram handle and posted a throwback picture with Shah Rukh Khan from probably the first season itself. She also posted one of her recent pictures wearing KKR jacket and stated that she’s been in stress since 2008 watching the team’s matches.

Here’s her Instagram post:

Lockie Ferguson shines for KKR

As far as the match is concerned, Lockie Ferguson was the star of the day thanks to his impeccable spell of 3/15 in four overs. The Kiwi pacer took crucial wickets of Kane Williamson, Priyam Garg and Manish Pandey and then also played a role in taking Abdul Samad’s catch at he boundary in the 19th over of the innings.

However, David Warner stood till the end for SRH and managed churn out 16 runs in the last over when the team needed 17. But the Orange Army crumbled in the Super Over to Ferguson’s brilliance and had to suffer their sixth loss of the season.

As for KKR, they are now at the fourth place in the points table with five wins from 9 matches and have distanced themselves from the bottom four. With four matches still to go, they will be hoping to continue in the same vein and seal the playoffs spot.
