MS Dhoni, the former Indian cricketer, retired from international cricket back in August 2020. However, despite not playing a lot of cricket, he hasn’t allowed the limelight to go away from him. He has continued to garner love and admiration from his fans and followers. He last played competitive cricket for the Chennai Super Kings in the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League.

At a time when he’s not much into cricket, the 39-year-old has resorted to organic farming after retirement. Recently, he uploaded a video from his farm and showed his fondness for strawberries. He took to his Instagram handle and shared a clip.

The veteran captioned the video and wrote, “If I keep going to the farm there won’t be any strawberry left for the market.” Dhoni isn’t overly active on social media, though he announced his retirement from the international level with a post on Instagram.

Dhoni made his debut for India back in 2004 against Bangladesh where he was run out for a duck. He was left stranded at the striker’s end after Khaled Mashud Pilot took off the bails. But once he smashed the Pakistan bowling attack for a century in Vizag, there was no stopping the Jharkhand-born. He kept garnering one laurel after the other in his illustrious career.

As the skipper, he helped India win the 2007 T20 World Cup, the 2011 50-overs World Cup and the 2013 Champions Trophy. The prodigy last donned the national jersey in the semi-final of the 2019 World Cup against New Zealand at the Old Trafford in Manchester.

Dhoni also rolled his arms over and picked up the wicket of Travis Dowlin in the 2009 Champions Trophy. With the keeping gloves, he has hands fast as a gazelle. Dhoni is also deemed as a good advisor for the bowlers from the wickets since he can read match situations very well.

Dhoni didn’t have a great outing in the 2020 IPL as the Super Kings were knocked out of the tournament before the playoffs. Though CSK won their last three games, they weren’t enough to take them to the next round. It remains to be seen when Dhoni takes the field again.
