The star performer for Delhi Capitals, Shikhar Dhawan is all set to fly for the gulf country with his team members to get going for the coming season of the Indian Premier League. The preparations for staging the 13th season of the fancy league are in the final leg and the tournament will kick start from September 19. Matches will set action from three venues namely Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi, and the final will be played on November 10.

The ace batsman proved to be the perfect son, and his latest Instagram post talks of the same. Before stepping ahead for UAE, Dhawan went to meet his parents and sought their blessings so that he could perform in personal best in the tournament.

The upcoming season can get tough on players as they have been witnessing outdoor sessions and field after the break of 5 long months. The Delhi batsman uploaded an adorable picture along with his parents and captioned it as – “Came to seek blessings and wishes from my parents before the long tour.
