Top 10 batsmen with most ODI runs going into the World Cup 2015: With the retirements of Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting in 2012, the players with most runs in One Day matches have been mostly from Sri Lanka. The Australian all-rounder made his ODI debut in 2002 and since then he has accumulated 5478 runs in ODI. In a career plagued with injuries and inconsistent form, Watson only recently cemented his place at number 3 after various experiments at number 4, 5, 6 and opening.
