Yuvi made a grand entry into international cricket scoring a match-winning 84 against the mighty Aussies in the 2000 ICC Knockout tournament. Yuvi has had his share of ups and downs, however, went on to become India’s best match-winner and more importantly a player with a big match temperament. The Player-of-the-Series performance in the winning campaign during the World Cup 2011 including another great knock against the Aussies under extreme pressure proved his class and calibre. Having fully recovered from cancer he is still trying to fight his way back into the ODI side. Yuvi has scored 8069 runs in this millennium with a top score of 139 against Australia at the SCG in 2004.
