2020 has been a different year for every human being on earth. During the second quarter of the year, everything, including cricket came to a standstill. The fans witnessed one of the weirdest T20 matches of all time in the Caribbean Premier League this year. St. Lucia Zouks battled the Barbados Tridents in the 19th match of the season at Port of Spain. Barbados won the toss and invited the Daren Sammy-led outfit to bat first.

Tridents did an excellent job with the ball as they restricted the Zouks to only 92 runs in the first innings. Hayden Walsh took a three-wicket haul while Raymon Reifer picked up two wickets in his one over as Barbados bowled out their rivals in 18 overs. Chasing 93 runs, Tridents made a good start as they were 34/1 after the powerplay.

However, what followed that was something that cricket fans might not have expected. The likes of Jason Holder, Johnson Charles, Corey Anderson, Rashid Khan, and Ashley Nurse failed to score 59 runs off the next 14 overs. Kesrick Williams and Mohammad Nabi bowled tight spells to ensure the Tridents managed only 89/7 in their 20 overs. Roston Chase bowled a fantastic last over, defending nine runs to help the Zouks win the contest.
