An all time great, Steve Waugh was known for his gutsy batting and astute captaincy. Few cricketers command the kind of respect this man does. He used to thrive under pressure and bat with determination. Waugh played 325 ODIs scoring 7569 runs with 45 half-centuries and 3 tons. His knock of 120 not out against South Africa in the semi-final of the 1999 World Cup at Edgbaston is arguably and justifiably considered the greatest chasing innings in an ODI.
