Rohit Sharma, the most successful captain of Indian Premier League, finds his place in this list as well. He usually takes his time to settle on the crease but when he does, he has that ability to hit the ball a long way. But there is something special about Rohit, he makes the batting and even power-hitting look so easy that its pleasing to the eyes.

The only thing that separates Rohit and Shikhar’s 37 50+ scores is the century that Rohit Sharma has scored. He started as a youngster with Deccan Chargers but soon moved to his hometown Mumbai. Since the day he started opening the batting and took over the captaincy, scores have gone better only. He is just 100 runs away from 5000 run mark and with a strike rate of more than 130 and an average of more than 30 he proves his freakish consistency in the cash-rich league.

The limited-overs vice-captain of India has scored 194 sixes in the tournament which tells us about his unbelievable ability to hit big shots with ease. As the coming season is in UAE, we hope Rohit will find his purple patch on the flat pitches as Sanjay Manjarekar once said: “No one is as great to watch as Rohit Sharma when he keeps on going”.
