Ross Taylor is someone whose longevity and consistency for New Zealand is often underrated. The Kiwi stalwart, in February 2020, played his 100th Test for New Zealand at Wellington. A month before that, Taylor also played his 100th T20I for the BlackCaps.

He is currently the only cricketer ever to play 100 matches in each of the three international formats. In a career spanning more than a decade, Taylor is the country’s leading run-scorer in Tests and ODIs with 7174 and 8570 runs to his name in each format respectively.

Talking about his overall international expeditions, the right-hander has amassed 17721 in 433 matches at an average of 43.64, which also includes 40 hundreds and 91 half-centuries. 36-year-old Taylor is still going strong across all formats and he’s expected to add a significant amount of runs before he calls it quits. His last international expedition was in March against Australia, when the ODI series was called off in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak.
