Fast bowling is not an easy job, especially in the sub-continental conditions. The pacemen did not have a great time bowling in the Indian conditions during the World T20. The pitches were slow and demanded extra efforts from the quickies to stay in the competition. The conditions, of course, were tough but some adapted themselves wonderfully and thrived on these flat decks. The numbers of some of the fast bowlers in the tournament are outstanding. In fact, a couple of fast bowlers have outclassed the top spinners of the tournament if compared statistically.

5. Ashish Nehra:

India benefitted hugely from the experience of Ashish Nehra in the mega event. At an age when most of the fast bowler think of retiring or are already retired, the 36-year-old made a comeback in the Indian team and gave some wonderful performances. His capability to take wickets in the powerplay makes him special. He claimed only 5 wickets in as many games but his miserly spells at the start and the end of the innings were spectacular.
