The Bangladesh veteran is back after serving a year of ban from cricket. He is one of the legends of the league and is once again available for the auction.

He last played for the Sunrisers in 2019 before the ban ruled him out. He is a stable middle-order batsman with a good hitting ability too. Apart from that, he is a very good left-arm off-spinner to bank on. He is definitely an asset to the team.

He has also played 63 IPL matches and thus has decent experience. Thus, Shakib will be on the radar of many teams looking for an all-rounder in their team.

5) Alex Hales

Here we have an interesting choice in English opener Alex Hales. He recently finished the BBL season as the highest run-scorer playing for the Sydney Thunder. He has played in the IPL before but failed to impress much.

But after playing leagues around the world, he gained a lot of T20 experience and has emerged as a better player. He is a good aggressive opener who can put pressure on the bowlers straight away. Recently he also scored a century against the Sydney Sixers.

Teams like RCB who must be looking for a swashbuckling opening batsman must be having their eyes on him in the auction. He could have a really good IPL season.
