Indian vice-captain Virat Kohli and his love for the New Zealand bowlers didn’t fade away in the ODI series as he scored his runs at an average of 119.3 and was the highest run-getter in this series with the second place nowhere in his range.

Kohli’s knocks of unbeaten 154 and another couple of half centuries got India home and as usual, he played crucial knocks which gave momentum to the Indian innings. His ability to play grounded shots with perfect timing is a treat to watch for the way he paces his innings and converts ones into twos.

He has 26 ODI hundreds to his name in his 166 innings young career which is way quicker than the greats of cricket namely- Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting which speaks for itself. In this ODI series, Kohli scored 358 runs with one century and two fifties.
