The skilful batter and a master tactician, Kane Williamson has helped New Zealand to achieve success in major tournaments. In 2012, he became New Zealand’s youngest ODI captain and fourth overall in the history of the game, when he was a stand-in captain in place of Ross Taylor. Since 2016, he assumed the duty of a captain as a full-time role.

Under his leadership, New Zealand emerged as runners-up in the 2019 World Cup. Later on, the Blackcaps lifted the World Test Championship (WTC) 2019-21 title. The Men in Black finished as runners-up in the 2021 T20 World Cup.

Williamson is currently the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL and is a brand ambassador of Powerade, Rockit, Asics, and Seagram’s Royal Stag. As per Sports Unfold, he has amassed a net worth of $6.5 Million (INR 52 Crores).
