It is a surprise that the brand value of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is listed sixth. They are a very popular team and have a big fan following as well. Moreover, they always tend to have some of the biggest stars of world cricket. But just haven’t performed.

Ahead of every season, there is a lot of promise but that diminishes in thin air and RCB are back to square one. They are the perennial under-achievers in the history of the IPL. They’ve reached three finals and have lost all three. In 2019, they finished with the wooden spoon.

The Virat Kohli-led side fifth last year as far as the brand value list goes, and despite, an increase in their brand value by 3.2%, they slipped down to sixth. Their overall value is $50.8 million in 2019 and their poor performances have led to the dip.
