Some of the most destructive batsmen in cricket history feature in the list of those with the most sixes in T20 format of the game. Interestingly, today Kieron Pollard and Brendon McCullum completed a quota of 500 and 400 sixes each.

The West Indian achieved the feat today while batting for his BPL franchise Dhaka Dynamites where he also scored an explosive 25-ball 52 and even though Baz did not quite get going after reuniting with Chris Gayle for the Rangpur Riders, he did add this special record to his name.

While Pollard with his show helped the Dhaka Dynamites continue their domination in the league, Rangpur Riders lost the game against Commila Victorians particularly because they were able to keep the likes of Baz and Gayle quiet.

Below is the list of the top 5 batsmen with most sixes in T20 cricket:

Topping the list is, of course, the best T20 batsman ever- Gayle who has a colossal number of 772 sixes in 303 innings. He is still miles ahead of fellow team-mate Pollard who has 500 maximums in 352 innings. After today, McCullum makes it on the third spot with 400 sixes in 293 innings.

The fourth in the list is Dwayne Smith, making him the third West Indies player to feature among the top five. He boasts a record of 347 sixes in 299 innings. One cannot leave out David Warner when it comes to showing off prowess in the shortest format of the game. He stands fifth on the table with 314 sixes in 237 games.

Naturally, these are batsmen who are considered absolute match-winners for whatever franchise they play across the world. They have earned these feats after featuring for multiple T20 leagues like the IPL, BBL, BPL, PSL, CPL and also for NatWest T20 in some cases.

Out of the list, Shane Watson and Rohit Sharma are not too far behind with 299 and 268 sixes respectively. Very interesting is the fact that someone like AB de Villiers is not in the top five but stands at 10 with 258 sixes.
