BCCI shares detailed plan of IPL 2020 ahead of the Governing Council meeting on Saturday

  • The BCCI hasn’t made an official announcement as it first has to get the government’s go-ahead.
  • The IPL Governing Council is also slated to meet on Saturday via teleconference to draw out ‘final’ plans regarding the tournament, followed by a meeting with the franchise owners, broadcasters and central sponsors on Sunday and Monday.
  • There will be no change in the distribution of BCCI’s revenue pool as all 60 matches of the IPL will be played across 51 days.
