India vs Pakistan is one game that no one wants to miss and it is always the biggest match on the calendar. The cricket fans from both countries are always in the mood to show their full support for their respective teams. However, there are times when it becomes slightly difficult to control the negativity which is there on social media.

As the day of the big match came around, former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif, decided to take to Twitter to share his views and encourage people not to take the wrong step by spreading hate. He advised everyone to watch the match by keeping all the politics, hate, and arrogance aside. He also said people should be treating this contest as just a game and not war.

Enjoy the day, celebrate your win, not your rivals’ defeat: Mohammad Kaif

“On this nervous morning, one small advice. It is always a great idea to watch cricket by keeping away politics, hate and arrogance. Enjoy the day, celebrate your win not your rivals defeat. Treat it as a game not war. #indvspak,” read the message shared by Mohammad Kaif on his Twitter handle on the morning of the Indo-Pak game.

The hype around the game is bigger than ever, given the fact that these two sides have not faced each other in more than two years. The last contest between them happened in 2019. Since 2012, India and Pakistan have not played a single bilateral series.

As far as the T20Is are concerned, this is the first one between the arch-rivals in more than five years. India has a considerable advantage over past records, given the fact that Pakistan has failed to beat India in World Cups after 12 games (7 in ODIs and 5 in T20Is). However, sometimes these records led to fans having several arguments on social media.

These arguments always create a hostile atmosphere for playing the sport. The players have always been seen in the right spirit, however, it sometimes can be a different thing when it comes to the fans. When the two teams play in this crucial encounter, it will mark the beginning of their campaign.
