Kedar Jadhav is deemed to be India’s man with the golden arm. On a number occasions, he has picked up some vital wickets and the captain often turns to him in the hour of need. He hasn’t let his team down on most instances and he definitely didn’t disappoint his team during India’s ongoing match in the Asia Cup against Pakistan at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
He was introduced into the attack in the 22nd over and he conceded only one run in his first over as Pakistani captain Sarfraz Ahmed played out five dot deliveries. In his next over, the Pakistani wicketkeeper-batsman tried to break the shackles and go after him. He advanced down the track and tried to clear long-on, but was not able to middle the leather.
Jadhav spins his magic
The ball didn’t have any elevation and Manish Pandey, who replaced Hardik Pandya in the outfield, took a superlative jugglery catch to send the batsman packing. Thereafter, he dished out immaculate line and lengths and kept a check on the runs, adding to the Men in Green’s frustration. In his next over, he got rid of Asif Ali, who came in to bat with quite a bit of intent.
In the first ball of the 29th over, Jadhav dished out a short and wide delivery and the batter went for an almighty slash. He found the batsman’s outside edge and MS Dhoni took a sharp catch behind the wickets. The fourth over from Jadhav turned out to be a wicket-maiden.
He didn’t stop and kept piling on the agony for the hapless Pakistani batsmen. In his sixth over, the right-arm off-break bowler completely bamboozled Shadab Khan, who lost his balance while playing a stroke. Dhoni took off the bails without much fuss. After his masterful display of bowling, Twitter heaped praises on the part-time tweaker.

Have seen non-Asian teams bat more confidently on rank-turning subcontinent pitches than the Pakistan batsmen have against Kedar Jadhav today.#INDvPAK #AsiaCup2018
