Twitter erupts in joy after ICC draws India and Pakistan in same group for T20 World Cup 2021

With the T20 World Cup on cards, the draws for the tournament were supposed to be announced on Friday. Thus, everybody had their eyes tight on the draws of India and Pakistan as fans of both the nations were hoping to watch them battle out against each other. However, now that both India and Pakistan have been drawn in the same group, the cricket on-lookers have got all ecstatic for the match.

An India-Pakistan game is nothing short of thrilling box-office entertainment. Add to it the drama and tension of the World Cup, and it further adds to the intensity of the game. The two nations haven’t been involved in any bilateral cricket since the 2012-13 season owing to political tensions. Thus, when the two nations face each other at the ICC events, it fans the fires of the competition.

Though it might seem a comparatively easy-looking group, no team would take anyone for granted and would certainly push their limits.

England, Australia, South Africa, and West Indies have been placed in Group 1. This group thus seems to be a power-packed combination given their T20 performances.
