Twitter Reactions: Babar, bowlers help Pakistan complete a 3-0 clean sweep

The sad story that had transpired through the T20I series and the first two ODIs continued in the concluding match as well, as Pakistan completely outplayed the men from the Caribbean in the 3rd ODI at Sharjah to wrap the series up in supreme style winning both the T20Is and ODIs with the best margin of 3-0.
Azhar Ali once again flipped the coin in his favor and decided to bat first. The skipper has been under immense pressure since he has been underperforming as a batsman in recent games and was likely to be replaced as skipper if his form didn’t improve. He hadn’t helped himself in the first two matches in one of which he was dismissed for a duck. But he did a world of good to his and the confidence of the selectors by scoring a ton today.
Following the skipper’s suit was No. 3 Babar Azam who has emerged as the best Pakistani batsman in the series. Babar hit his third consecutive ton and helped the team total to sail over 300. With a huge total on the board, their bowlers came out with a sense of freedom and intent to attack. West Indies started with a cautious approach and it looked like they weren’t going to give away wickets this time. But soon after the wicket of opener Evin Lweis it changed completely and all the stays were too brief to be significant.
For Pakistan pacers, Mohammad Nawaz and ace fast bowler Wahab Riaz were the pick of the bowlers. Nawaz returned with a 3-wicket haul in his 9 overs for 40 runs whereas Wahab found a couple of successes in his 8 overs against 28 runs. The first wicket that he took was the 100th ODI wicket of the 31-year-old right-arm pacer. Frequent wickets saw West Indies being bowled out for just 172 runs in 44 overs and lose the game by 136 runs.
