St Lucia saw an eventful Day 4 to bring this India – West Indies game alive, after rain played spoilsport on Day 3. Bhuvneshwar Kumar who played his first Test in 19 months went on to pick a five wicket haul as the Windies innings slumped from 129-1 to 225 all out.
Ishant Sharma began the proceedings for India as he scalped Bravo’s wicket. Later on after lunch, Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled a masterly spell of 5/16 as he ripped apart Windies middle and lower order. They suffered a horrible collapse plummeting from 202/3 to 225 all out, thus giving India an astounding lead of 128 runs.
India on the other hand were quick to display their aggressive side as they began solidly. Rahul did play with a healthy strike rate before getting out, but the successive wickets of Kohli and Dhawan slowed down India’s run rate. Rahane and Rohit somehow made for the slow start as both ended up scoring 51* and 41* respectively.
The unbroken 85 run stand took India to an enormous lead of 285 runs at stumps with 98 overs to be bowled on the last day. The onus will be on Rohit-Rahane to extend the lead in the first 10 overs and give their bowlers enough time, to contain the Windies batting. Sets up for an exciting day of cricket on Day 5.

Twitter was amazed with Bhuvi’s brilliance with the ball and applauded him while KL Rahul got trolled for dropping yet another catch. While Rohit dropped a catch to find himself again in the troll books, he made amends with his gritty knock of 41 not out. Here are some of the Twitter reactions during Day 4.
After his five-wicket haul, @BhuviOfficial our #PlayerOfTheDay! thanks his fans for their support. pic.twitter.com/Ft51RkudiP

Rohit Sharma so kind that he scores some runs at this time of night to ensure trollers don't feel bad watching him score. #WIvIND

Important 50 that by Rahane. Has guided the innings perfectly to set it up for tomorrow.

India's No. 3 woes continue. Average of just 24.74 by India's No. 3 in Tests since Jan 2014 – WORST among all teams. #WIvIND

Kohli batting at three doesn't make sense for me. One weakness is ball swinging in first 15 overs

Viv Richards making lascivious comments on commentary and Gavaskar encouraging him. Don't tell me cricket doesn't have a sexism problem.

Massive glove there. I suspect there will be "KL RAHUL IS A SHIT BLOKE" t-shirts being printed across the West Indies

At tea, India lead by 159 with 132 overs remaining… #wivind

Rohit Sharma may have just made his most defining contribution to this Test

They find a way to score at 4 an over they can be 275 in front at close. Even 3.5 gives them a chance to bat an hour tomorrow and declare

Rohit Sharma looks up at the sun after dropping that catch. Not the best advertisement for the sunglasses he's wearing. #WIvIND #cricket

KL Rahul drops catches as much as Kohli scores hundreds, Pujara plays dots and Ishant bowls no balls. #WIvIND

Jadeja and Bhuvi have bowled 44 overs for just 50 runs in this match till now. And 5 wickets of course.
