Twitter Reactions: Bishan Singh Bedi's son Angad Bedi gets married to Neha Dhupia

While the Bollywood fraternity was busy attending the lavish wedding ceremony of the Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, Angad Bedi also got hitched to Neha Dhupia. Though the marriage was a secret affair as the duo announced it on the social media via their respective Twiter handles after the renowned Director Karan Johar broke the news earlier. However, Twitter was flooded with congratulatory messages for the couple who shocked everyone with this news.

Angad Bedi is the son of the former Indian cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi who was the left-arm spinner during his cricketing days. He was known to destroy the opposition batting line-up with his wily spin-bowling and went on to play 67 Test matches and 10 ODIs for India. Angad though is not a cricketer and has worked in the number of Bollywood movies. Even his wife is a famous actress and both were close friends for a long time it seems before they decided to exchange the marriage vows.

Angad’s unique cricket connection

Though Angad is not a cricketer like his father, somehow he has managed to stay connected to the game. He has hosted a show ‘Extra Innings T20’ which was the pre-match show of the Indian Premier League (IPL) when the tournament was being aired on Sony until Star India bagged the broadcasting rights from this year. Als0, Angad was part of ‘Inside Edge’ the series based on Cricket in which he performed the role of a captain of the team Mumbai Mavericks.

Twitter was surprised on Thursday after they came to know about the marriage and the messages galore on the social media for the adorable couple. Even Bishan Singh Bedi tweeted the picture of his son and the daughter-in-law and wished them a happy married life while confirming that the wedding was attended only by the close family and friends.
