Twitter Reactions: Brendon McCullum fails to take Heat over the line in the super over

Saying the Big Bash League (BBL) 6, the second semi-final was a humdinger, to say the least. Playing to the true sense of a T20 and a knock out game it went down to the wire. Brisbane Heat batted first and put up 167 runs on the board in their reply, Sydney Sixers just managed to match the score and not better it. With scores at level after 40 overs it was time for the super over; the first in this season of the BBL.
Skipper Moises Henriques took the responsibility with the bat and had Colin Munro for company. He played 5 balls and scored 18 runs. Ben Cutting who had done exceptionally well to restrict them in the 20th over bowled a no ball, gave a free hit and conceded 22 runs in the over.
Brendon McCulllum walked out to take the guard with Cutting against Sean Abbott. The Aussie pacer didn’t give away anything to the former New Zealand skipper and let him score just 16 runs in the over to take his team into the final of the BBL 6 where they will face the Perth Scorchers.
Here is how the super over panned:
Sydney Sixers:
0.1 – Ben Cutting to Colin Munro: 1 run bye
0.2 – Cutting to Henriques: 2 runs
0.3 – Cutting to Henriques: It’s a six
0.4 – Cutting to Henriques: The batsmen run one and it’s a no ball so they get two runs
0.5 – Cutting to Henriques: Another six
0.6 – Cutting to Henriques, Gets a four on the last ball
Brisbane Heat
0.1 – Sean Abbott to Brendon McCullum: It was short above McCullum’s head but the umpire didn’t call it a wide, no runs
0.2 – Abbott to McCullum: 2 runs
0.3 – Abbott to McCullum: Finally gets the ball to the boundary for a four
0.4 – Abbott to McCullum: 1 run
0.5 – Abbott to Cutting: 1 run
0.6 – Abbott to McCullum He hits the ball over the ropes on the last ball but doesn’t count, they have lost the game
Here is how Twitter reacted to the exciting game:

People criticising the selection of Cutting for the Super Over didn't see the last over. It was really Moises that won that. #BBL06

That is cruel. McCullum's final ball 6 is not enough as we fall short by 7 in the Super Over. #TurnUpTheHeat
