Zimbabwe are taking on West Indies in a decisive Group Stage fixture of the ongoing T20 World Cup in Hobart. While the players are hoping to secure a path to the Super 12 stage of the tournament, a picture of Zimbabwe's Blessing Muzarabani along with Windies all-rounder Jason Holder has got the netizens talking.

Zimbabwe's Blessing Muzarabani, who shone for his side in their triumphant opening fixture against Ireland, clicked a picture alongside fellow towering paceman Jason Holder ahead of their clash at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart. While the former West Indian skipper is a giant of a man himself, Muzarabani, quite clearly towered above the Windies all-rounder, to the shock of the fans.

Zimbabwe Cricket's official Twitter handle shared the striking image via a post on Wednesday, which read, "TOWERING PACEMEN . . . 🇿🇼 bowler Blessing Muzarabani with West Indies seamer Jason Holder on the eve of their T20 World Cup clash at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart."

West Indies square off against Zimbabwe in a must-win encounter

Coming to the game, West Indies head into the match after being embarrassed at the hands of Scotland in their opening fixture. The record two-time T20 World Champions are in dire need of a victory to keep their hopes alive of making it to the Super 12 stage of the competition.

Pooran, quite expectedly, was disappointed after the 42-run loss against Scotland as his side were favourites to make it to the next round. He lamented on another poor outing from the middle-order batters, who have been under fire for quite a while now for their below-par performances in the shortest format of the game.

“Tough loss for us. Disappointing for sure. We’ve got to do the hard work now and win both games. We have to take accountability and responsibility. We’ve got to reflect and get better. 160 was a par score. The middle-order batting was disappointing. I guess when you perform badly, as players, you want the next game to come as quickly as possible. I don’t think we were complacent. We got off to a good start, but it was disappointing after the Powerplay,” said Pooran after the shocking loss to Scotland.
