Twitter Reactions: Dubai Capitals beat MI Emirates as they move up to fourth in the table
Sikandar Raza and Dasun Shanaka were the stars of the night as both the players scored half-centuries and helped the Dubai Capitals chase the target

In the 29th match of the International League T20, Dubai Capitals faced off against MI Emirates at the Dubai International Stadium. Nicholas Pooran’s kock of 43 off 31 balls and Muhammad Waseem scoring 31 runs at the start of the inning were not enough for the MI Emirates as the Dubai Capitals chased the target quite comfortably as they won the game by seven wickets.
Dan Mousley’s knock of 31 and Lorcan Tucker scoring 21 off 15 balls helped the MI Emirates in putting up a target of 165 runs of the scoreboard. In the second innings, Robin Uthappa provided DC with a decent start as the 37-year-old scored 29 runs off 20 balls.
The stars of the night, however, were Dasun Shanaka and Sikandar Raza. Both the players were instrumental in DC chasing the target in the 19th over. Shanaka scored a fabulous knock of 58 off 36 balls with three sixes and five fours to his name. Raza was not lagging behind as he contributed just as much to the run chase.
Dubai Capitals move upto fourth place in the standings
Sikandar Raza scored 56 runs off 36 balls as well with four sixes and four fours to his name. Both Shanaka and Raza remained not out and helped DC chase the target in just 18.1 overs. After the victory, the Dubai Capitals find themselves in fourth place in the table with nine points in 10 matches, MI Emirates are still one spot above DC despite the loss as they have 11 points after 10 matches.
Dasun Shanaka was named Player of the Match for his fabulous knock that was integral in DC winning the game.
