Twitter Reactions: England v Australia 4th ODI; England square levels: England had never won an ODI series coming 2-0 down and Australia has never lost one with that lead. Coming into the 4th ODI both the teams would have had this stat at the back of their minds and at the end of the game, the home team is one step closer of erasing it off.
Eoin Morgan’s team is different from the one-day teams we have seen from England in recent years. He is not only leading their charge from the front but captaining the team with superb attitude, belief and confidence. It is his calmness that is rubbing off on rest of the boys and we saw the English batsmen chase down 300 for the 2nd time in a row. Australia would have been happy at the half way stage with 299 on the board. It was a characteristic knock by the danger man Glenn Maxwell (85 from 81 balls) and half-centuries from George Bailey and wicket-keeper Matthew Wade that got the Aussies closer to 300.
Morgan & Co. came out with a winning mindset and were still going hard at the Kangaroos despite losing the 1st wicket for none. Skipper’s 92 and regular contribution from the others ensured England ran over the line with 3 wickets and 10 balls in hand.

Maxwell: 85 from 64, full spell of overs for 1/54, two of the best catches in cricket.
Morgan: 92 from 92. Man of the match.
