In another eventful day of Test cricket at the Hyderabad stadium, Team India swung the momentum completely in their favour. At stumps on Day 4, Bangladesh ended the day with 3 wickets down and requiring another 356 runs to win the game. Their only resolute now would be to bat out Day 5 and try avoiding a possible defeat.

Earlier in the day, Bangladesh resumed from their overnight score of 322/6. While the lower order batsmen struggled to pick up the Indian pacers, Mushfiqur Rahim showed great valour and went up to construct a brilliant century and was the last man to get out after scoring 127 runs. Bangladesh got all out for 388 runs but India didn’t enforce the follow-on.

While Murali Vijay and KL Rahul failed to get going and were back to the pavilion by the sixth over, Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli took the onus and scored runs at a swift pace. Pujara went on to compile a half century with a strike rate in the 90s.

Though Ajinkya Rahane failed to accelerate gears, Ravindra Jadeja started in the fifth gear as he hit a 4 and the six in the first three balls he faced. India went on to score 159/4 in their second innings by Tea and declared at the interval.

Bangladesh didn’t begin well as they lost Tamim Iqbal early. Just when it seemed the visitors were doing fine, the spinners spread havoc as both Ashwin and Jadeja struck. Soumya Sarkar and Mominul Haque failed to hang on.

Bangladesh ended the day at 103/3 as they require a target of 459 to win which seems highly unlikely. Twitter kept everyone entertained on a Sunday evening with some splendid tweets. Right from lauding Pujara to trolling Rahane, right from lauding Indian spinners to trolling Bangladesh batsmen, here are some of the Twitter reactions that took place during the course of the game:
