Great, Significant, Stupendous, Masterclass. You’ll fall short of words to describe Virat Kohli’s outstanding innings against the Super Giants. It would be safe to say that Virat is at the pinnacle of success. His IPL tally so far consists of scores like 75, 79, 33, 80, 100*, 14, 52, 108*.
Talking about his innings today, it was momentous. RCB needed a mammoth 192 in 20 overs, but Kohli displayed a fantastic knock. He executed all his shots at such exquisite timings as if he was a perfectionist of then. He began at a slow pace but kept on accelerating as the match progressed.
Every time it felt as if Pune were getting an upper hand in the game, Kohli crushed the momentum with a boundary. He scored a magnificent 108 off 58 balls scoring his second century in this IPL season. He smacked 7 sixes and 8 boundaries in a scintillating match winning knock.
He was deservingly announced the man of the match as the Chinnaswamy stadium applauded the efforts. RCB won the match by 7 wickets with 3 balls to spare as they defeated RPS again. Shane Watson also played a good cameo of 36 from 13 balls.
Twitter was at its splendid best as they were full of praise for the man of the moment, Virat Kohli. He kept everyone entertained for all the minutes he spent at the crease and was lauded by one and all. Here are some of the Twitter reactions that took place regarding Kohli’s brilliant hundred:
Another Kohli classic. A line used before, a line to be used again.

Kohli hits the winning runs, three random team-mates come charging towards him hoping to lift him up, he just gives em a cold hi5.
Zen.

Take a bow Virat Kohli. Words will never be enough to describe your class. Certainly the best T20 batsman at present ahead of Gayle and AB.

Not sure, if one has seen someone do well so consistently chasing a score like Virat Kohli. He is not the finisher, He is the game.
