The ODI series is done and dusted; Team India is on a clean sweep spree in Sri Lanka as they wrapped the series up 5-0. The Men in Blue have a perfect blend in the team, of the youth and experience of aggression and calmness and this is what makes them a complete package. As they won the series and pacer Jasprit Bumrah was awarded the Man of the series which won him a car, the senior most member of the team MS Dhoni took the driver’s seat and rode all the boys on it.

Bumrah with 15 wickets became the first pacer to pick as many wickets in a 5-match bilateral series. He also registered his best bowling figures of 5/27 in the series which was his first five-wicket haul in ODIs. For his remarkable performance, there was no surprise that the 23-year-old was the choice to be named the player of the series. With the trophy and the cheque, he was awarded keys of a Multix car.

On being named the MoS, Bumrah said, “It’s always a dream to play Test cricket, but I’ll wait for my chance. It was my first visit to Sri Lanka and I’m glad I did well. I was focussing on my preparation, I had time to rest and it makes you hungry. It’s been a long journey with Malinga and I’ve learnt a lot. I just want to learn and become a better bowler.”

Like in any family, the eldest took the keys and all others hopped in. The entire Indian team got onto the car as if it was a display of the little vehicle’s power. Dhoni took them around the ground for a complete lap and parked it back outside the dugout.

Twitterati went crazy watching that and there were enormous reactions emerging on Twitter, here are some of the best:
