However, Ravindra Jadeja disturbed the timber with a brilliant delivery and got him out.

Mohammad Shami handled the tail and quickly ran through the last two wickets. West Indies was bowled out for 210 runs in 59.5 overs. India won the match by a huge margin of 257 runs and the players were thrilled after the victory. For his brilliant efforts in both the innings of the game, Hanuma Vihari was named the Man of the Match.

They congratulated Virat Kohli on his 28th Test win as the Indian captain – the most by any surpassing the record of MS Dhoni (27).
