Twitter Reactions: RCB clinch a thriller at Mohali by just 1 run

The Royal Challengers Bangalore took on the Kings XI Punjab in a humdinger of a contest at the Mohali stadium. Captain Murali Vijay won the toss as Punjab elected to field first. While KXIP brought in Farhaan Behardien and Anureet Singh, RCB had Iqbal Abdulla coming in.
Batting first, KL Rahul began with a blast as he smashed 42 from 25 balls. Once he got out, RCB lost 3 wickets in quick succession and were put on the back foot by the Punjab spinners. From there on, AB de Villiers accelerated well and switched gears in the last 5 overs. He raced his way to a brilliant 64 from just 35 balls.
RCB managed to put up a decent total of 175/6 in their quota of 20 overs. The pick of the bowlers were KC Cariappa and Axar Patel who got 2 and 1 wicket respectively. Sandeep Sharma also got 2 wickets but was expensive as he was at the receiving end of ABD’s onslaught.
On the other hand, Kings XI Punjab also began well. Vijay led the Punjab chase as he scored a magnificent 89 from 57 balls. KXIP seemed to be running away with the game but as soon as he got out, the tables turned. With 17 required from an over, Stoinis did absolutely well to make it 6 from 3 but failed to capitalise from there.
Royal Challengers Bangalore thus won a trilling contest by just one run. Shane Watson shined with the ball again with figures of 2/22 while Chahal was also good enough. Watson was also announced the man of the match.
Twitter kept everyone at their toe ends throughout the entertaining game. Right from lauding ABD’s stormy innings to trolling KL Rahul’s wicketkeeping skills, from lauding Vijay and Watson to trolling Jordan, here are some of the Twitter reactions that took place during the course of the game:

Great hand by Vijay. He's brought the team to the brink of victory. Is there enough heft remaining in Punjab dug out to complete the job?
