Twitter Reactions: Sarfaraz Khan stuns SRH with his lightning cameo

Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner won the toss and elected to bowl first. And things did start off in favor. Bhuvanesh Kumar got the better of the 36-years old Chris Gayle as RCB were reeling at 12/1 in 4 overs. The end of the inning was a complete anti-climax as the 18-year old kid Sarfaraz Khan played a blinder to give them the final push and end the inning on a high.
However, AB de Villiers and the ever consistent Virat Kohli smashed bowlers all round and over the park. They gave the bowlers a run for their money. The SRH bowlers had no answer to the counter attack by the RCB batsmen. They put up a magnanimous partnership of 157 runs in just 87 balls for the second wicket. While Virat Kohli scored 75 runs from 51 balls, AB de Villiers was even more magnificent with 82 runs from 42 balls.
Leaving Mustafizur Rahman, none of the bowlers conceded at less than 9.5 per over. Ashish Nehra’s injury hurt SRH as he went off the field after bowling 13 balls. Bhuvanesh and Karn Sharma, both gave away 50 runs in their 4 overs quota as SRH failed to inspire any confidence in their bowling.
But the man in the limelight at the end of the innings was neither AB nor Kohli. It was the Mumbai youngster Sarfaraz Khan who scored a swashbuckling 35 from just 10 balls. He smashed Bhuvanesh Kumar for 22 runs in 5 balls as he steered Royal Challengers Bangalore’s total to 227-4.
Twitter lauded the pinch hitting by the young man and were full of praise for him. Here are some of the Twitter reactions on Sarfaraz Khan’s splendid cameo.
What an ending from @IamSarfarazKhan. Outstanding cameo. Have to keep reminding myself he's only bloody 18!! @RCBTweets @IPL #RCBvSRH #IPL

Brilliant from Sarfaraz…but quite mediocre from #SRH. Not one short ball to him. Not even one. #RCBvSRH

Hope Sarfaraz comes through. Just the sort of batsman India needs lower down in limited overs cricket, particularly T20s.
