Twitter Reactions: Wasim Akram’s car attacked in Pakistan: Former Pakistan pacer Wasim Akram’s car was fired upon in Karachi’s Karsaz area on Wednesday. According to initial reports, unidentified men fired at Akram’s car on Karsaz Road near National Stadium. The cricketer said, “The bullet hit my car’s tires but I remained safe”.

Reportedly Akram was travelling to the stadium where he is coaching young bowling talents from Pakistan, as per his recent alliance with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He also said that he has noted the registration number of the car and has given it to the cops, while also adding that he had not received any threats.

There is no clarification yet as to who the attackers were, was it a personal enmity or a terrorist attack. More developments on the story will follow.
