The Indian Premier League (IPL) provides a massive platform for the young Indian and overseas players to rub shoulders with some established names in the world cricket. The IPL has helped several players garnish their career by playing alongside top cricketers of the world. The teams stay together for around 2 months and they make a great bonding.

One such bonding was seen at the house of Hyderabad-born Royal Challengers Bangalore bowler Mohammed Siraj. The not so lavish house was filled with a number of star players who had gathered at his place for a dinner. RCB were in the town for their encounter against the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the 24-year old bowler did not miss an opportunity to invite his teammates for a dinner party. Likes of Yuzvendra Chahal, Parthiv Patel, Mandeep Singh and few others joined skipper Virat Kohli.

Famous Hyderabadi biryani on the plates

The RCB players enjoyed some delicious dishes at Siraj’s house which includes Hyderabadi biryani, Patthar ka gosht, korma, Khoobani ka mertha and Double ka meetha. Interestingly, Virat and the other teammates were seen sitting on the floor to eat the food. The pictures and videos of the same went viral and the fans were hailing Virat and co for their simplicity.

Siraj comes from a very humble background. His father is an autorickshaw driver and has worked hard so that his son can play the game. Siraj used to live in a small two-room house but moved to a new house in 2017. In the 2017 IPL auction, Siraj rose to fame when Sunrisers Hyderabad bought him for an eye-popping deal of 2.6 crores. In the 11th edition of the tournament, the bowler attracted a number of bids but it was Royal Challengers Bangalore who got the bowler for a 2.6 crore.

Royal Challengers defeat against the Sunrisers means that their chance of qualifying for the playoffs is done and dusted. Siraj who hasn’t had a great season along with the other players would hope to leave an impact before they sign off from the tournament.
