Royal Challengers Bangalore, on the back of some fine bowling performance, got back to winning ways, defeating Mumbai Indians in match 31 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 that played out to be a thriller. However, the action could be seen both on as well as off the pitch. While Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Quinton de Kock was busy fumbling behind the stumps against Mumbai Indians, Sanjay Manjrekar was facing a volley of bouncers hurled at him for his faux pas on Twitter.
The reason he faced the wrath of the social media is that he misspelt when he used the hashtag #QuintonDeCock for the South African wicketkeeper. And many cricket fans on the microblogging site found it hard to deal with this blooper and weren’t ready to pass it as easily. Soon after de Kock dropped a catch off Yuzvendra Chahal‘s bowling, Sanjay Manjrekar tweeted.

Match Details
Hosts RCB produced a disciplined bowling display as they beat Mumbai Indians by 14 runs. Chasing an achievable target of 168 runs, Mumbai lost wickets at regular intervals and could only post 153/7 in their 20 overs. Their chase ran into trouble right from the start as they lost their top order in the first seven overs before the total had reached the 50-run mark
Apart from Hardik Pandya, who scored a patient 50 off 42 deliveries, the rest of the Mumbai batsmen were unable to stand up to the RCB bowlers. With the win, the Bangalore team now stands at the fifth spot in the IPL table with six points from their eight matches. Mumbai is second from bottom in the eight-team ladder with four points from eight matches.
