Ambati Rayudu, the right handed batsman, invited a fresh controversy this week by manhandling a senior citizen in Hyderabad. The video of him getting angry at the person and creating a scene on the street has gone viral which has left people furious. The 31-year-old has been slammed on social media website Twitter and fans are not at all impressed with the cricketer’s behaviour.
Rayudu has been out of favour of the selectors for a long time now and has been trying hard to get back into the national side. However, with age not on his side, and the plethora of youngsters performing well on the big stage, the chances of his return look grim. The cricketer needs to concentrate on his field performances rather than getting stuck in such incidents which won’t do any good to his reputation.
What actually happened?
Apparently, the Mumbai Indians player was driving rashly on the streets of the city on his way to Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. His driving was objectionable and a senior pedestrian thought of letting him know about this and advised Rayudu to drive in a proper way. The advice from the person did not go down well of the Indian cricketer and he got down from his vehicle and manhandled him.
The onlookers captured the video of such ashamed behaviour of the cricketer in which Rayudu is using a lot of cuss words and also trying to hurt the senior person physically. Such behaviour has definitely hampered his reputation either; as a lot of youngsters in the country look up to the cricketer and they should be careful of their public image.
Twitter criticised the Hyderabad cricketer and slammed him for his obscene behaviour. While some told him to respect others, some of them supported him terming celebrities are also humans.
Here is how Twitterati lashed out at Ambati Rayudu after watching the video:

@RayuduAmbati you must be ashamed of yourself. I wish your parents should not be treated in the same way as you treat that aged person.
