Mumbai Indians pays 8 Cr. and ropes in Nathan Coulter Nile, the Australian pacer, for the upcoming season of IPL. In the previous season, he was the part of Royal Challengers Bangalore but never played a single match for them as he was ruled out after sustaining an injury. The decision didn’t go down well with the fans, who started trolling the Australian bowler on social media in a hilarious fashion.

The 32-year-old pacer is known for his accuracy with his line and length. He has been playing in IPL since 2013 and achieved a lot of success while playing for different franchises. His best season so far in the T20 tournament came in 2015 when the right-handed speedster took 15 wickets in 11 games for his side.

However, Coulter Nile couldn’t excel a lot due to his injury-prone history. Moreover, it was one of the main reasons because of which Royal Challengers Bangalore released him earlier this year in November.

MI surprisingly pays 8 crore for Coulter-Nile

The fans thought that he might go unsold as he might not get any buyer in the IPL 2020 auction but that never looked the case. Against all the odds, Mumbai Indians started the bidding and Chennai Super Kings joined the intense bidding thereafter.

Both the heavyweights are known for their on-field rivalry in IPL and the same was showcased in the auction. Neither MI nor CSK wanted to back down. Eventually, it was MI, who looked quite aggressive in their approach to rope Coulter Nile in their team and succeeded in getting his services.

Mumbai Indians raked up a whopping amount of  Rs 8 crores for the Australian speedster and now he will be spotted wearing the yellow jersey in the upcoming season of Indian Premier League. Nathan Coulter-Nile is currently sidelined from the national side but he is working hard to make his way back into Australia. He has grabbed 130 wickets in 108 games in the shorter format so far in his cricket career.

Twitterati was shocked to see the Aussie pacer for getting a whopping amount of 8 Crore and the fans started trolling Coulter Nile upside down on social media.
