The Uganda Women team will feature in a 5-match T20I series against Nepal Women at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur. In their last international outing, the Uganda women’s team lost all their six league matches in the Capricorn Women’s Tri-Series 2022. Captain Janet Mbabazi was the best performer for them with contributions in both departments. The other players like Concy Aweko and Phiona Kulume will be looking to continue the good form as well.
On the other hand, the Nepal women’s team will return to international cricket after six months. In November last year, they won 3-0 against Qatar and were average with three wins in five matches of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Region Qualifier 2021/22. The team will be captained by Rubina Chhetry, and the likes of Sita Rani Magar and Indu Barma will serve as their key players.
