<p>12 runs to win from 6 balls, Red Steel&#8217;s wicket-keeper Nicolas Pooran, who had hit the spinner for 11 runs off 4 balls during the chase, had planned a celebration even before the first ball was bowled. <p>Pune Warriors will stay in the record books for all the wrong reasons, as the shadow of Chris Gayle looms large. The Calypso King’s wagon wheel took turns all around the corner, as he smashed 102 runs only in sixes. The innings break was postponed by some time as the ball boys were busy collecting the balls, that were hit for sixes. Most of the bowlers went over 15 runs per over, as Gayle lifted the home team to 263. Numerous records were made including fastest fifty off 30 balls, as the Gayle storm hit the Chinnaswamy in style.</p>

<p>This talented Pakistani opener is known for his hard hitting batting. Apart from hitting big ones, he is well known for finding the gaps. Having cemented his place in the national squad, Ahmed has been a vital cog in the Pakistani batting line up. In this particular innings against the Stags at Lahore in a domestic T20 Tournament, he scored a century in just 57 balls scoring 20 boundaries and a six. He holds the world record of scoring most number of boundaries in an innings.</p>

Apart from Odoyo, all the bowlers were expensive, as Kenya had to bear the brunt of Mubarak, who scored a 13-ball 46 at a strike rate of 353.84. Sri Lanka finished with 260 runs on the board, while Kenya couldn&#8217;t even cross the half way mark, and were uprooted for 88.</p>

<p>The second T20I between South Africa and West Indies turned out to be a nail biter, as West Indies chased down 232. South Africa batted well, as Du Plessis guided them to 231. But, it was Kyle Abbott who entered the record books, as he gave away 68 runs in his 4 overs. Kyle went over 17 runs per over, though he picked up a wicket of Russell, before getting smacked for 2 sixes and 14 boundaries. Abbott would like to pass on this record, but such thrashing doesn&#8217;t take place every day.</p>

Gayle blasted 17 sixes and 13 fours off just 66 deliveries to take his team to a mammoth total of 263 for 5 wickets. On that day, he didn&#8217;t spare any one, as he kept on sending the white cherry down the stands. The Calypso King didn&#8217;t wait for the bad deliveries, as he went down the wicket and sent all the bowler&#8217;s to the cleaners. He currently holds the record for the fastest century in T20&#8217;s.</p>

He bowled 3.4 overs in his spell as all 10 Glamorgan wickets fell to the Somerset spinners. Glamorgan batsmen failed to read Suppiah&#8217;s spin, as the entire team was packed for mere 98 runs. Somerset went on to win the match by 5 wickets, as Suppiah tricked a major collapse. With cricket known as a batsman&#8217;s game it will be hard to beat a record of this stature.</p>
