Rashid Khan is scaling greater heights day by day at the international level and has bamboozled the batsmen around the world. Recently, in the Indian Premier League (IPL), he was at his best and won games single-handedly to his team Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). He scalped the wickets of some of the best cricketers going around in the cricketing world and has now revealed the current best batsman in the World. However, he also considers himself unlucky for not being able to bowl to Sachin Tendulkar who has retired a few years ago.

Rashid has continued in the same vein in the ongoing three-match T20I series against Bangladesh in Dehradun. He has spun the web around the batsmen and picked 7 wickets in the first couple of matches itself. Interestingly, he was won the Man of the Match awards in both these games and would be itching to inflict a clean sweep over the visitors.

Who is the best batsman?

Rashid Khan, in an interview to Cricket Soccer, has revealed that the Indian skipper Virat Kohli is the best batsman in the World right now. However, he was equally disappointed that Kohli won’t be featuring in the upcoming historic Test match against Afghanistan. “I would love to bowl to him [Kohli] in Test cricket as well. He is the best batsman right now in the world. [But] I think there are lots of other [world-class] batsmen in the [Indian] line-up,” he said.

The 19-year-old also went on to say that he was unlucky that he will never bowl to Sachin Tendulkar as, according to him, there will never be such a player again in this world. “I would love to bowl to him. I think taking his wicket is something else but you know just bowling to him is a dream of every player, every bowler. I don’t’ think that such a player will come again to this world. So, I should consider myself a little bit unlucky not to bowl to him,” the leggie added.
